Key Account Manager - New Zealand

About Your Role
Reporting to the Vice President Sales and Marketing and focussed on the New Zealand key account, you will focus on retaining top customers and nurturing key relationships over time.You will act as a strategic partner and advisor to the client, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.Specifically your role will include:
•Developing a complete understanding of key account needs to build a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and Thales New Zealand
•Anticipating key account changes and improvements to adopt an agile approach
•Ensuring effective communication between key clients and internal teams
•Collaborating with sales teams to maximise profit by upselling or cross selling
•Negotiating contracts
•Expanding relationships to develop new customer accounts
How About You?
•Extensive experience operating at a senior level within defence and public sector
•Demonstrated background in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
•Highly developed strategic and business analysis skills and effective decision making
