To support our team in Vienna, we are looking for:

Test Manager for Safety Critical Railway Solutions (f/m)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the test of the technical end-to-end solution in the field of train control and railway signaling systems
  • Manage test activities to provide evidence with the technical requirements and specifications
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per defined standard (EN50128, EN50129) and project lifecycle
  • Appropriate planning and management of the test resources
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all testing milestones
  • Establish trust with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers, and also finding creative ways to accelerate project delivery
  • Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format
  • Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary
  • Opportunity to take over a test team line management role in the near future
  • Establish trust with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers, and also finding creative ways to accelerate project delivery

Your profile:

  • Technical degree (HTL/TU/FH) in Railway Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • A minimum of 3 years proven working experience in Test Management
  • Strong result orientation and drive to achieve project objectives
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification is an advantage
  • Cultural awareness and experience with distributed test teams
  • Positive attitude and persistence are key to succeed in this role
  • Competitive mindset, strong desire to “win”
  • Comfortable with a highly dynamic and changing work environment
  • Excellent client-facing communication in German and English language, Hungarian language beneficial
  • Full, valid eligibility to work in Austria
