About the team
The Industrial Cell Manager will lead and manage an Industrial cell within Thales UK to achieve adherence to schedule within cost parameters established in the operating plan/budget, whilst achieving a quality standard that will meet or exceed the customer’s specifications in a safe and secure environment.
We have an impactful and exciting opportunity for an Industrial Cell Manager for Thales UK. The role requires someone with a confident, professional background across Manufacturing who can help support the business as it evolves.
We are looking for a talented individual who can take on a fast paced and varied role, you will develop, motivate and maintain an effective work team built on mutual trust and open communication which is continually focused on the customer and working with a continuous improvement ethos.
The Successful individual will be accountable for all HSE activities within the cell. This will include the establishing and maintaining all area risk assessments, control of Personal Protection Equipment and the training and heath surveillance of all staff. Maintenance of a safe and secure operating environment is the primary importance.
You will multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision. You’ll have the ability to establish and meet deadlines. A proactive individual with excellent communication skills who can engage with all levels of stakeholders and disciplines to establish a system-centric way of working.
You will have the capability to work as a team player and take a calm, logical approach when reacting to the challenges we face, and a track record of planning and implementing change and making efficiency improvements utilising appropriate Lean tools.
With an understanding of best practice MRP/ERP, your extensive experience to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail will have covered fast paced and complex environments. Evidence of production risk mitigation safeguarding immediacy of supply within a product and service based business is desirable for this position.
