We are looking for our key player within our channel sales team that will represent Thales and our team within Cloud and Data Protection. The position is based in Stockholm and it is essential that you are fluent in Swedish, and any other Nordic language is advantageous as your region will be the Nordics. Our portfolio is world leading in enterprise and banking security, from core data protection to secure access at the edge of the network. We protect more data, transactions, and identities than any other company. In the position as Channel Account Manager you will join a team of diverse and driven people, who supports and encourage each other, and enjoys to have fun!

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all Enterprise channel sales related activities within the Nordics territory with primary focus on owning the Value Added Distributors and associated revenue targets

  • Organisation and management of the sales channel and supporting every stage of the sales process including direct representation with the end customer if required

  • To continue driving the adoption and implementation of the new Channel Program and build the revenue

  • Establish strong, long-term strategic relationships with key Distributors, Partners and Customers in the Enterprise market space

  • Manages, develops and grows strategic prospects and existing customer relationships

  • Identifies, qualifies and quantifies all opportunities within an assigned region and leads sales effort

  • Develops and delivers accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers

  • Manages all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, development of the customer relationship at all levels and the implementation of the account plans

  • Delivers on set objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets

  • Works with sales support, pre and post sales to further customer relationships forecast, track territory opportunities, and close the deal

  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information including accurate sales forecasts

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years ofsales experience in IT industries, at least 3 years at major account sales

  • A university degree within Business, Sales and/or IT related qualification

  • Strong background in software products and/or subscription selling with experience working directly with strategic accounts.

  • Experience in managing all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, development of the customer relationship at all levels and the implementation of the account plans

  • Capable of closing complicated deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion

  • Maintaining and growing existing relationships

  • Able to collaboratively work with the extended Sales eco-system (peers, direct-sales, channel sales, business development, sales engineers) to ensure that commercial goals are achieved within territory

  • Comfortable being an active participant in highly technical discussions, and able to collaboratively work with Sales Engineer to ensure that commercial goals are achieved within territory

  • Sales driven with strong track record of closing large strategic transactions with Reseller partners

  • Ability to communicate with senior management, internally and externally for sales and new product launches

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a strong commercial negotiator

  • Self-motivated and an ability to thrive under pressure

  • Team player with strong coordination and collaboration skills

  • Fluent in Swedish and English is essential. Skills in other Nordic languages are advantageous
