System Engineer - Defence domain

EDISOFT, a Thales Group company, is focused on providing the most advanced solutions in the Aeronautics, Space, Security and Defense domain.
We are looking for a System Engineer to be part of a team responsible for developing a tactical communications system for the Defence domain.
As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, planning and implement a computer system for a deployable communication and information system (DCIS) in line with the defined operational requirements .
You will design system data architecture of new computer system solutions and formulate and design the security system to maintain data safety. You will establish, configure and test operating systems, application software and system management tools. You will identify the need to develop customized software and hardware requirement and plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
You will collaborate with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within guidelines, policies, and procedures. You will deal with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders. You will interact with external national or international stakeholders related to the Defence domain.
About you
Required skills and qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of experience as System Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge in operating systems and server solutions (Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services (RDS), IIS, AD)
- Proficient in English
Desirable skills:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- VMWare Certification
- Experience in the Defence domain
- Good communication skills and adaptability to different contexts and levels of responsibility
