Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the Quality Management activities in the Bid and Projects and to contribute to the Quality Management System processes improvement. You will apply methods, processes and tools, according to Thales best practice
You have:
Recourses that Thales is compliant within applicable regulations and follows relevant standards
- Analyses the customers’ quality requirements, specifies and implements the quality plan for the bid and programme phases
- Point of contact with the customers’ QA representatives
- Schedule and follow acceptance tests
- Delivers reports to the hierarchy of the entities concerned, Government, the certification body and the Quality department in order to anticipate risks
- Organizes internal and external audits
- racks and assesses internal and external observations and deviations in the Quality Management System
- business process implementations based on observations from project participation and performed revisions
- Issues and approves Request for Deviation/waivers
- Business travel of approximately 20-30 percent yearly
As a Quality Manager for Thales Nordic & Baltic you are expected to be able to navigate in an international large-size organization and within that, drive the Quality improvement forward being in compliance with Thales Group Management System. Further we expect that you are compliant with the following:
- Expert knowledge of quality standards (ISO, CMMI)
- Experience within RAMS would be an advantage
- Ability to implement and reinforce best practice processes
- Methodical approach and process understanding
- Attention to detail and technical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
- Fluency in English, written & spoken. Norwegian fluency is an advantage but not mandatory
