We’re looking for a commercially focused HR Business Partner to work across two of our businesses based in Western Sydney. As business partner to our leadership teams, you’ll have a complex client group of c.500 people and partner with the leadership team on all things people-related, challenging the status quo to drive results and increase organisational effectiveness. This role is a mix of strategy and delivery, so you need to be comfortable with setting the strategy and then rolling your sleeves up and delivering it. A proven all-round generalist HRBP, you’ll ideally hold a strong track record in Enterprise Agreements, building management & leadership capability, talent management and succession. The role can be based in either Sydney Olympic Park or Orchard Hills, with occasional travel to Lithgow, regional NSW and Victoria.
The role will involve:
Partnering with business leadership teams to understand the commercial strategy and business drivers
Working closely with the HR Director to drive the People agenda to meet business requirements and increase organisational effectiveness
Leading on Enterprise Agreement negotiation for 2 EA’s which will be coming up for review in 2021
Working across a range of HR projects, for example the implementation of a new time & attendance system across the business
Building leadership and management capability
A strong focus on workforce planning, succession management, talent and capability development
The ideal candidate will be:
A true strategic HR business partner and change agent, able to build high-trust relationships with senior leaders across a global, matrix-driven organisation
Highly commercially focused, you’ll bring solid experience in driving results that genuinely impact business performance
All round generalist HR experience with a large, complex client group. Any exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments would be beneficial.
Experienced in working with and negotiating complex enterprise agreements
A trusted partner, with strong influencing skills and the ability to deliver great results
A great communicator and strong team player
