Product Owner (f/m/d) (Ref.Nr. R0112592)

For our activities in the field of digital identity and security at our Location in Munich

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

  • Ensures achievement of BU strategic objectives for the Sentinel product family by working closely with the engineering, technical support, operations and program management teams to identify and communicate product requirements and priorities and ensure timely and quality releases of products and patches. Builds products around data processing and analytics in order to enable our customer’s Customer Success teams.

It also involves the following tasks:

Product Execution:

  • Own and manage the product backlog
  • Define clear, elaborate and unambiguous requirements that meet the customers’ use cases
  • Work closely with architects and engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood
  • Ensure timely and quality releases by working closely with engineering, services operations, program management and other relevant groups
  • Be passionate about great user experience

Product Roadmap:

  • Work with rest of the product management organization and BU stakeholders to define the product roadmap
  • Research on latest industry trends and competitive innovations to recommend the product evolution

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Work with market-facing Product Management on product vision, roadmap and collateral
  • Work with sales organization to provide support in strategic deals / areas
  • Support regular trainings to keep sales on the top of latest features
  • Work with customers for new requirements, issues or solving their use cases

You have:

  • BS degree in a technical field (i.e. computer science or engineering or equivalent) MBA preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of total experience with desired prior product management experience
  • Prior hands-on development experience highly desired
  • Experience in data analytics highly desired
  • Prior experience with BI tools (eg. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • General understanding of database structures and practices
  • Experience with AI/Machine learning is a plus
  • Good experience working with the agile methodology
  • Experience of driving focused projects towards improving usability / user experience
  • Have worked with global teams serving customers across regions
  • Understanding and experience in the field of software licensing and customer success is an advantage
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance technical and business needs
  • Strong technical skills to appreciate the nuances of the product
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to effectively converse on complex topics and strategic concepts with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Ability to transform strategic theoretical concepts into practical solution plans that are understandable and feasible to implement
