Agile Engineer - Process, Practice and Tools Specialist

The purpose of the Tools, Digital and Data Transformation “Infrastructure Agile Process, Practice and Tools Engineer” role, the Engineer Lean Specialist, is to help achieve our Air Traffic Management /Air Mobility Services (ATM/AMS) vision of becoming a agile and digital organisation to provide expertise into ways to improve our current infrastructure architecture around the business (DevOps, Containerisation) increase staff engagement and business efficiency by deploying continuous improvement.

The Process, Practice and Tools Engineer Infrastructure Engineer Lean Specialist achieves this by administrating, engineering, and supporting providing support, coaching, training a new architecture that changes related to Agile and project management tools and practices for the can be used by the ATM/AMS Air Project  squad as well as providing and by challenging the e to the business to always implement the best solution to develop and promote the Lean/Agile principles practices across the business.

You will also:

  • Support all teams across the AMS / ATM business

  • Enforce data consistency within the Tools and schema adoption (i.e. make sure the Tool is used as per its intended use)

  • Develop and maintain related documentation

  • Propose, design, develop and enhance business solutions to satisfy the needs of the company

About you:

  • Agile systems engineering and software development

  • Strong software engineering experience

  • Experience in implementing agile processes in tools

  • Experience in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

  • Atlassian development (Plugin development for JIRA, Confluence)

  • Experience in API development (Rest, GraphQL, gRPC)

  • Experience in a customer service role Experienced with DevOps methodologies and tools (Git, SCM, CI/CD)
