Thales highly values the application of modern technologies and methodologies.

You’re involved in the roadmap and development of all platform aspects of complex systems. The platform software (networking, operating systems, middleware, security components) is used both during the installation and configuration of all systems aboard naval ships as well as during mission runtime.

The infrastructure is part of the sensor and information management systems aboard navy ships. Relevant technologies include Linux, Java, Python, XML and TCP/IP networking. Knowledge of the Linux operating system is required while knowledge of configuration management tooling (e.g. Ansible) IT architecture and (container) virtualization is preferred.

You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management or comparable. Your colleagues are recognized experts in the field and will help you get up to speed and Thales will gladly invest in your development.

An important requirement to fulfil this role is flexibility and the ability to communicate efficiently in English to all types (technical, management) of stakeholders.
