Sales Development Representative

We are looking for an Inside Sales Development Representative to support our Cloud Protection and Licensing Division. Whether it’s securing the cloud, meeting compliance mandates or protecting software for the Internet of Things, organizations around the world rely on Thales to accelerate their digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily follow up on inbound leads
  • Identify new opportunities with current customers
  • Schedule meetings with the sales team after initial qualifications to further the sales cycle
  • Collaboration between Marketing, Sales and Channel teams to maximize prospecting success
  • Continue to nurture leads and educate prospects until they are ready to move to the next step
  • Meet or exceed monthly quota by identifying key players and generating interests and opportunities
  • Both inbound, and outbound calling to help build sales pipeline is required.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to drive campaigns and programs

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years of with outbound and inbound calls building a sales pipeline
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in supporting a field sales team on Sales Development activity
  • Expertise in building relationships to become a trusted resource with Field Sales and  channel marketing teams to increase communication and productivity
  • Success in building rapport on the telephone to manage and overcome objectives
  • Highly proficient in Excel (formulas, charts, graphs), PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately under severe time constraints and pressure
  • Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, SaaS, Data Encryption, Data Protection, or Access Management
  • Team player and proactive personality
  • Willing to learn and grow with the company
