Payroll and HR Administration Officer

Thales & Thales Alenia Space Belgium are currently looking for a
Payroll & HR Administration Officer
FUNCTION:
- Responsible for an accurate & timely payroll processing in partnership with the selected social secretariat
- Input payroll data accurately and ensure it is complete in the employee management system including new hire information, any payroll changes (Work pattern, promotions, mobility…) on a regular basis and make adjustments if required.
- Identify and enhance continuous improvement projects related to payroll processing
- Draft contractual documents linked to personnel administration (employment & termination contracts, amendments, true-cost for company cars…)
- Liaise with social organizations (Mutuelles, ONSS, Inami…) when applicable.
- Reporting: You are responsible to establish provide & analyse in a timely manner reports and indicators regarding employees data (leave management, salary benchmarks, work patterns…)
- Provide advice & guidance to employees and managers in alignment with the implementing processes
- Keep up to date any legislation changes and trends: You act as a guarantor of the social and tax legislation compliance (country and joint commission-linked). You make sure internal policies are observed.
- In collaboration with the HR Director and HRBP of Thales alenia Space and Thales, designs implements and manage the global compensation & benefits policies such as wage policy, variable compensation, group insurance& health insurance…
PROFILE :
- Background in a related field (Law, Human Resources, ...)
- At least 10 years of experience in a comparable role
- Strong knowledge of the Belgian social legislation and previous experience within or with a social secretariat (Knowledge of Level 5 is a strong asset)
- Proficiency in Payroll & administration management softwares (Workday is a strong asset)
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Advanced level of Excel mandatory)
- Fluent in French & English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
- Rigorous, strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to challenge & to optimize the processes in place
- Leadership: you take the lead on the different subjects from A to Z, with a strong sense of accountability
- High customer service orientation
- Curiosity: you like exploring new topics and learning by yourself
- Autonomy: you are not afraid to take decisions in your area of responsibility.
- You are mainly located in Charleroi but are flexible to go on other Belgium sites if necessary(Leuven, Hasselt, Tubize, Herstal)
