Electronic hardware & software engineer


Within a project / product team, you will be required, in the context of on board space / launcher applications, to define, design, develop, validate hardware and software interfaces for a new development project.

Main activities

  • Understand and study the implementation feasibility (mixing hardware and software constraints)
  • Develop/adapt the embedded software used in a multi-core microcontroller
  • Define the architecture, product breakdown in elementary functions
  • Perform electrical and software specifications and system studies
  • Perform software coding, including handling of mission critical quality level
  • Analyze and interpret simulation & test results
  • Investigate on potential anomalies
  • Write Reports, design justifications and various descriptive documents
  • Use of simulation software to validate circuits
  • Perform the design robustness analyses (Margins analysis, Failure Mode analysis, …)


  • Master in Electronics / Embedded Software Engineer
  • General physical sense and orders of magnitude
  • Essential :
    • Electronical Engineer with a thorough of discrete electronic (analog/digital) design (transistor level). At least 3 years of experience in electronics.
    • Good experience in an electronic lab environment
    • Very good knowledge of programming techniques for embedded µP and µC
    • Very good knowledge of C language, knowledge of Python, and practice of one assembly language
    • Good knowledge of power converters topologies (buck, boost, …)
    • Good knowledge of regulation loops, stability criterias
  • Good knowledge of communication protocols, including UART and CAN
  • Good knowledge of real-time programming techniques
  • Asset: Knowledge of Microcap and Simetrix/Simplist simulators
  • Capacity for synthesis, analysis, capitalization
  • Autonomous, ability to prioritize a workload, rigorous and inventive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Sound judgment, able to take decisions
  • Good stress resilience
