About Our Site

Our Eagle Farm site is the beating heart of operations for Thales' range of protected vehicles, which protect Australian soldiers in the field. At this site we provide a range of offering engineering and general maintenance services to ensure our soldiers remain safe. Our team of 140 have an unrivalled passion for what we do, our Support operations are pivotal to the ongoing success of both our Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms.

Our Opportunity

As a member of the Services and Support delivery team, the Demand Support Coordinator is dedicated to the supply of product to the customers. This is achieved through support to the capability, program, and project managers which includes general administration duties as well as reporting, auditing and assisting finance in reporting and invoicing.  This role also has opportunity to input into demand support process to improve our offering to our customers.  

Responsibilities

  • Providing demand support in liaising with customers to receive and process orders
  • Processing orders and related quotes utilising our enterprise resource planning system
  • Tracking sales orders to meet customer requirements within set time frames
  • Ensuring the timely processing of invoices and analysing data
  • Maintaining strong external and internal relationships through the provision of superior customer service

About You

  • Appropriate/relevant tertiary qualification and experience in the use of an enterprise resource planning system is preferred
  • Experience in a similar multifaceted and fast paced role preferably in supply chain environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong MS Office – Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills, exposure to Infor LN would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication capability is essential for this role due to the number of stakeholders involved

Special Requirements

The position is dependent on the candidate eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
