Thales is hiring for a Solutions Sales Manager in Austin TX. This position can be fully remote, but candidates that are local to Austin, TX are preferred. The Solutions Sales Manager for BPS Digital banking will be responsible for managing the business and technology relationship with a set of existing customers, and building a healthy pipe of new leads aiming at growth of the business. Job holder  works in a fast-paced business environment and works collaboratively under tight deadlines, with a range of positions and levels of authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a trusted advisor relationship on strategic digital security technology and business aspects with key customer executives and stakeholders

  • Responsible for the sales for a portfolio of accounts to reach the company's objectives

  • Responsible for the growth of Digital Banking business in the US including digital onboarding/KYC, access/authentication and fraud prevention solutions

  • Utilizes own industry network to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts

  • Utilizes sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identity new opportunities, and expand list of prospects

  • Responsible for creating short range and long range plans for the assigned key accounts and present those for approval to BPS leadership.

  • Leads a cross functional team dedicated to assigned accounts – Product experts, system architects, technical consultants, customer services, operations and technical delivery teams.

  • Manages and solve conflicts with clients

  • Responsible for establishing budgets with the client and company as well as forecasting and tracking key account metrics

  • Assists with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

  • Actively involved  in Trade Associations, Market Research and Product Development

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field

  • 7  yrs of Digital Banking experience in a customer interfacing position

  • Track record in building  customer relationships, advising solutions and solving customer conflicts

  • Experience in establishing budgets, preparing forecasts and reporting KPIs

  • Must have a deep technical expertise in overall technology and specifically digital security domains.

  • Deep Knowledge of the Digital Banking and Payment domain, with a strong focus on Onboarding, Authentication and Fraud Prevention solutions

  • Collaborative problem solver

  • High persistence within a highly competitive environment,

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS / MBA strongly preferred

  • 3 yrs experience working in sales
